The beginning stage of a painting is where I can move things around,increase or decrease sizes, edit in or out.When I get to the latter stages it is cumbersome and clumsy to make corrections. The Italians have a great name for this: Pentamentes! Some of the great master works have a ghosted arm, or a different face underneath
