Description
Today seems like an especially poignant day to post a Wrightsville beach image, as Hurricane Florence is poised to make landfall in a matter of hours (Johnny Mercer pier is in the background). Wilmington North Carolina is almost ground zero and it is inconceivable to think of the damage about to occur. I have been chased off of vacations lots of times to avoid all of the commotion, but I wish I happ prayed a little more fervently for the people who live in the affected areas

Thank you. The path of Florence is devastating the southern part of NC and northern paty of SC (if that makes sense) I only pray, like you, for their safety

This is a beautiful work. The work's title struck a chord with me specifically as a young family member once had their parent call me to say: "please don't dig to China, there is very hot lava there and it will hurt you". Many have been praying for those in the path of destruction.
